When King Kalakaua and Queen Kapiolani put out a call to help those afflicted with Hansen’s disease, Saint Marianne Cope and the Sisters of St. Francis boldly stepped forward. Where there was despair, they brought comfort and hope. Today, more than 138 years later, St. Francis Healthcare System carries on this legacy of aloha and compassion. Offering a broad spectrum of health and social services, our team provides life-changing care to Hawaii's families from keiki to kupuna. While many things have been altered by the pandemic, one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to creating healthy communities.
On Saturday, January 23, 2021, family, friends, coworkers, and keiki are invited to take a first step towards transforming lives with St. Francis. Now is the time for us to show up for those who need our support the most. Together, we can make a difference beginning with one simple step!
